Jan Croxson has worked in the entertainment industry since graduating
in Drama and Psychology from West Midlands University many, many years
ago! She spent her first few years of employment working with the
renowned theatre director, Val May CBE at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in
Guildford before moving to London to work with touring theatre
producer, Excalibur Productions in the West End.
Jan then worked as right hand man to the legendary Jason Pollock during his time as Head of Entertainment at TVAM. After an exhausting few years there she jumped ship and partied with the best of them during the champagne years at successful advertising agency BMP DDB Needham. She spent 6 months in the TV department working on clients such as Euro Star but felt compelled to return to working with on screen talent.
She joined John Noel Management in its fledgling days when there were only two members of staff (Jan and John) working with talent such as Davina McCall, Dermot O'Leary, Kate Thornton and John Leslie. She found she had a skill for discovering and nurturing new talent from unknown to stardom and after nearly 7 years with the company felt it was time to 'do her own thing'.
She joined a small start up talent agency attached to the successful production company Princess Productions and Princess Talent Management was born. The agency became one of the most highly regarded talent management companies in London due to hard work and an excellent reputation. She represented stars such as Vernon Kay, Kelly Brook, Vicki Butler Henderson and Dave Berry to name a few.
Relationships were established with all the major broadcasters, pr companies, advertising agencies and radio stations over the years and she brings this wealth of experience and good will with her to DML.
Jan lives in Surrey with her daughter Nancy (also known as Noodles).
