Richard Fox is a TV chef, with specialty knowledge of beer. He was the 2006 winner of The British Guild of Beer Writers awards for Food and Beer writing; he has his own cooking slot on BBC1 Regional Look North and is a regular chef on BBC2's Food Poker.

His first book, The Food and Beer Cook Book was published by Senate in 2006, and was also launched in Australia by Marshal Cavendish . Richard co-wrote Morrissey's Perfect Pint with Neil Morrissey which was published by Collins in September 2008. Channel 4 then commissioned a three part series based on the book, which aired in October.

His expertise in the world of beer make him a favourite personality for hosting gourmet beer and food events for Harvey Nichols, Fullers brewery, The National Chef's Conference as well as numerous corporate and private clients. He has appeared extensively on UKTV Food, Saturday Cooks on ITV, The Good Food Show on BBC Radio 4, to name but a few - extolling the gastronomic pleasures of beer. Most recently, Richard appeared on UKTV Food's Market Kitchen and BBC2's Supersizers Go.
