Bobby Chinn, chef / proprietor works both the front and back of the house at his award-winning restaurant in Hanoi, Vietnam. Bobby is probably one of the more colourful global chefs out there - his restaurant in this culinary outpost has been compared to Rick's Cafe of Casablanca. He lives and travels in Asia, cooking food that has been described by the Asian Wall Street Journal as 'The best Californian cuisine outside of California'.
With his French technique, Californian sensibility, global ingredients and a total disregard for tradition, he breaks the rules and makes his own. A Northern California native, he has worked with some of the leading chefs in San Francisco, including Gary Danko, Hubert Keller, and Traci Des Jardin.
Bobby has appeared on BBC's Saturday Kitchen and Full on Food, as well as UKTV Food's Great Food Live. Bobby has his own series on Discovery Asia entitled, World Cafe Asia
Bobby also presented Bobby Chinn Cooks Asia for Discovery and is currently filming his newest series, World Café Middle East.
