Kitty Johnson

Short Biography

Kitty Johnson started her career in the wine world by working for Robert Joseph, The Sunday Telegraph's wine columnist. She then went on to become a weekly wine correspondent for Handbag.com, the leading women's internet magazine, and now divides her time between writing about, talking about (on television and live lectures) and drinking wine.

Kitty co-presented the series Great Wine Walks (UKTV Food) and appeared as a regular guest presenter on Great Food Live (UKTV Food), Saturday Kitchen (BBC2) and Winning with Wine (Sky). Kitty contributes to a number of publications and wrote a regular column in The Express, The Mail on Saturday and Olive Magazine. Her first book, Wine: A Woman's Guide was published in 2003 by Bantam. Kitty also appears every year in the Wine Theatre at the BBC Good Food Show.

Kitty trained and worked as an actress before becoming involved in wine jounralism and television presenting.
