Oliver Heath

Short Biography

Oliver grew up in Brighton and studied architecture at Oxford Brooks University before completing his post graduate with distinction at The Bartlett School of Architecture at University College London in 1995. After working as an interactive exhibition designer on the likes of the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich he set up his own design practice Blustin Heath Design in 1998, which specialises in sustainable architecture and interiors.

In 1998 he also won the prestigious Young Designer of the year Competition on BBC Homefront. Following working on this series, Oliver was approached by BBC Changing Rooms and completed 32 makeovers for the series, as one of the designer/ presenters. He also presented series Channel 4's From House to Home, UKTV Styles' Front of House and most recently a 15 part series for ITV - Dream Homes.

He has written 3 books, The Home Book, Front of House and his most recent Urban Eco Chic, and Oliver is a regular columnist for the Observer and House beautiful magazines.

He is passionate about eco design - and talks regularly on the subject at design shows such as Eco Build, Grand Design and the Ideal Home show. His commitment to these issues has led him to set up an online eco store EcoCentric.
