Sophie Michell

Short Biography

Sophie is one of the most beautiful, sexy and talented young chefs currently on UK television. She is very confident in front of the camera and her cooking is healthy and delicious.

Sophie has a real passion for nutrition and healthy eating. She became chef for a world famous supermodel for two years and has cooked for various VIP clients. This healthy eating experience made her the perfect choice of presenter to join Channel 4's popular food series Cook Yourself Thin, and a New Year's spin off special of the series. In the past she has worked as Head Chef on Ch4's The Fit Farm and she is continually invited onto Good Food's Market Kitchen. Most recently she filmed The Teenagers Guide to Life for BBC1.

Sophie has had several successful cookbooks. Her first was Irresistible published in 2005 followed by the TV tie-in book Cook Yourself Thin: a delicious way to drop a dress size which went to number three on the UK non-fiction paperback list. Her latest book Fabulous Food, sexy recipes for healthy living was published in 2008. She is now working on her next book. She is also a regular columnist for Grazia Magazine, Healthy Magazine, Eat Me Magazine, Tesco's Count Down to Christmas Magazine, Top Sante and is the Middle-Eastern food correspondent for Eat Me magazine. In 2007 she wrote Tesco's in-store recipe cards.

She is currently developing TV projects with some key independent production companies for transmission in the UK and USA and is in the process of opening a new restaurant in Beirut.
