Caroline Bretherton

Short Biography

Caroline Bretherton is the family food writer for The Times on Saturday. She started out as a fashion model, before dedicating herself to her passion for food. In 1995 she founded her company, Manna Catering, which has a client list that includes celebrities, fashion magazines and photographers, as well as cutting edge companies such as Nike and L'Oreal.
 
Since 1999, Caroline has made numerous guest appearances on cooking shows including Channel 4s Light Lunch, UKTVs Great Food Live and Great Food Bites. She has  featured regularly on Food Network Daily for the Carlton Food Network, and followed this with several guest appearances with Alistair Hendy for the series No Meat Required. Caroline co-presented Real Food with Lesley Waters and made 32 short programmes for the Home Choice channel as The Healthy Gourmet.

She has also consulted with Uncle Ben's and in her spare time, attends to her beloved allotment making jams and chutneys from the produce!
